Paul Anthony Sorvino (April 13, 1939 – July 25, 2022) was a multifaceted American talent, recognized as an actor, opera singer, businessman, writer, and sculptor. With a commanding presence, he often embodied figures of authority in his performances, seamlessly moving between roles that depicted both law enforcement and criminality. Sorvino gained widespread acclaim for his portrayal of Paulie Cicero, a character inspired by Paul Vario, in the iconic 1990 film Goodfellas.
