Peter Dinklage, an accomplished American actor, has captivated audiences with his versatile performances across film, television, and stage. He gained widespread recognition following his role in The Station Agent (2003), which marked the beginning of a remarkable career. Since 2011, Dinklage has brought to life the character Tyrion Lannister on HBO's acclaimed series Game of Thrones, a portrayal that earned him an Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Drama Series, as well as a Golden Globe Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2011.

Born Peter Hayden Dinklage on June 11, 1969, in Morristown, New Jersey, he is the son of Diane, an elementary school teacher, and John Carl Dinklage, an insurance salesman. Of German, Irish, and English heritage, he graduated with a drama degree from Bennington College in 1991, paving the way for a successful acting career. Dinklage’s theatrical performances include notable works such as "The Killing Act" and Shakespeare's "Richard III." His filmography includes Living in Oblivion (1995), Elf (2003), and X-Men: Days of Future Past (2014), among others.
