Ryūtarō Gomi was born on July 7, 1933, in Suwa, located in Nagano Prefecture, Japan. He gained recognition as a talented actor, particularly noted for his performances in several notable films. Among his most acclaimed works is "Harakiri," released in 1962, which has been celebrated as a classic in Japanese cinema. Additionally, Gomi starred in the films "Shinshū Tenmakyō" in 1958 and its sequel, "Shinshū Tenmakyō - Kanketsu-hen," also released in 1958. These films contributed to his reputation within the industry and showcased his versatile acting skills.
