Marc Warren
Biography
Marc Warren is a distinguished English actor recognized for his performances in various British television dramas such as Band of Brothers, Hustle, The Vice, State of Play, Mad Dogs, The Musketeers, Jonathan Strange & Mr Norrell, and Van Der Valk. He hails from Northampton, England, where he was born in 1967, and honed his craft by studying at the East 15 Acting School located in Essex.
Warren made his initial foray into professional acting in 1986 with the play Stags and Hens at the Northampton Theatre Royal. His stage career includes notable productions like Kes, Kingdom of Earth, and an adaptation of To Kill a Mockingbird.
His significant television breakthrough occurred in 2001 when he portrayed Albert Blithe in the acclaimed HBO miniseries Band of Brothers. Following this, he continued to feature prominently in a variety of successful series, demonstrating his versatile acting skills.
In addition to his television work, Warren has appeared in several films, such as Love Actually, The Other Boleyn Girl, and The Woman in Black.
In 2013, he received the British Independent Film Award for Best Supporting Actor for his role in the film Hyde Park on Hudson.
Warren's personal life includes a marriage to fellow actress Polly Walker, and together they have two children.
