Keith David, born on June 4, 1956, is a versatile American actor known for his work across film, television, and voice acting, as well as his singing talent. He has garnered acclaim for his performances in notable films such as Crash, There’s Something About Mary, Barbershop, and Men at Work. David has also left a lasting impact in cult classics, featuring prominently in John Carpenter's The Thing as Childs and They Live as Armitage. His filmography includes memorable roles such as the General in Armageddon, King in Oliver Stone's Platoon, and Big Tim in Darren Aronofsky's Requiem for a Dream.
