Nora Swinburne, born Leonora Mary Johnson on July 24, 1902, in Bath, Somerset, was a renowned British actress whose career spanned several decades. She was the daughter of Henry Swinburne Johnson and Leonora Tamar Brain.

She married character actor Francis Lister in 1924 before going on to marry actor Edward Ashley-Cooper in 1934. Her third marriage was to actor Esmond Knight in 1946.
