Elisabeth Judson Shue, born on October 6, 1963, is a prominent American actress whose career spans over three decades, marked by a variety of memorable performances in both film and television. She gained widespread recognition for her role as Ali in the classic film The Karate Kid (1984) and showcased her versatility in comedies like Adventures in Babysitting (1987) and Cocktail (1988). Shue further solidified her status as a leading actress with notable appearances in the iconic Back to the Future sequels—Back to the Future Part II (1989) and Back to the Future Part III (1990)—as well as in the satirical comedy Soapdish (1991).
