X González, born Emma González on November 11, 1999, is a prominent American activist known for their passionate advocacy for gun control. Their activism was ignited by the tragic events at Stoneman Douglas High School in 2018, where they survived the deadliest high school shooting in U.S. history. In the aftermath, González co-founded Never Again MSD, a group dedicated to combating gun violence.

González gained widespread recognition following a powerful speech in which they boldly stated, "We call B.S." in response to politicians' inaction on gun control, highlighting the influence of the NRA on legislative decisions. Their compelling rhetoric and commitment to the cause propelled them into the national spotlight, leading to significant media appearances and involvement in organizing the March for Our Lives. At this landmark demonstration, González poignantly led a six-minute moment of silence, representing the duration of the shooting incident, a haunting tribute to the victims.
