Yvette Mimieux

Yvette Carmen Mimieux (January 8, 1942 - January 17, 2022) was a prominent American actress celebrated for her work in film and television. She gained recognition for her roles in classic films such as The Time Machine (1960) and Where the Boys Are (1960), as well as in The Black Hole (1979) and Dark of the Sun (1968). Mimieux's career spanned several decades, during which she captivated audiences with her performances.
In her personal life, she was married to hospitality executive Howard Ruby from December 20, 1986, until her passing in 2022. Prior to this marriage, she was wed to the renowned director Stanley Donen.
