Biography

Rachel Agatha Keen, professionally known as Raye, is a talented British singer and songwriter who has made significant waves in the music industry. Her career took off in 2016 when she lent her voice to the hit singles "By Your Side" by Jonas Blue and "You Don't Know Me" by Jax Jones. The latter achieved remarkable success, reaching number three on the UK Singles Chart and earning platinum certification from the BPI, along with "By Your Side."

In 2017, Raye's growing influence was recognized when she was shortlisted for the BBC Music Sound of... award, ultimately finishing in third place. Her debut mini-album, *Euphoric Sad Songs*, released in November 2020, featured the UK top-10 hit "Secrets," collaborating with Regard. The year 2021 saw her further rise in the industry as she became a co-lead artist on the popular single "Bed," alongside Joel Corry and David Guetta.

Despite her success, Raye made headlines in July 2021 when she decided to leave her record label, Polydor Records, signaling a new chapter in her artistic journey. With her unique sound and impactful lyrics, Raye continues to captivate audiences and solidify her place in contemporary music.
