Kostja Ullmann
Biography
Kostja Ullmann was born into a family deeply rooted in the performing arts. His father, an actor, ran his own talent agency in Hamburg, while his half-Indian mother was a talented dancer. Ullmann's sister, Shantia Ullmann, also pursued a career in acting, making the arts a significant part of their family life. Kostja took to the stage at a young age, performing at the Ernst Deutsch Theater in Hamburg when he was just eleven.
Ullmann’s professional journey began in 1996 when he landed a role in the television series "Alphateam," directed by Norbert Schulze. This opportunity was followed by his appearance in the short film "Das Rennen," directed by Oleg Skworzow. As he honed his craft, Ullmann gained further recognition with various guest roles in television series, culminating in a prominent role in the series "Zwei Männer am Herd" in 1999.
In addition to his television work, Ullmann showcased his versatility in short films, including "Strandnähe," directed by Till Endemann, and "Albtraum einer Ehe," directed by Johannes Fabrick. Throughout his career, Ullmann has continued to captivate audiences with his performances, establishing himself as a notable figure in the German film and television industry.
