Yui Horie is a renowned Japanese singer and voice actress, affectionately known to her fans as "Hocchan." She has built a remarkable career in the entertainment industry, marked by her role as the host of the popular radio show "Horie Yui no Tenshi no Tamago" and as a founding member of the singing group Aice5.

Emerging in the 2000s, Horie stands out among a select group of idol voice actors who have maintained their popularity through deep, lasting connections with their fans, rather than solely relying on conventional attributes of youth and beauty.
