Thế Anh (April 3, 1938 - September 29, 2019) was a prominent figure in Vietnamese acting, celebrated for his impactful contributions to both cinema and theater. Renowned for his memorable performances, he garnered widespread acclaim for his portrayals of Lieutenant Phương in the film "Nổi gió" and Ba Duy in "Mối tình đầu." Throughout his impressive career, Thế Anh appeared in over 60 films and television series, solidifying his status as a stalwart of Vietnamese cinema.
His talent and dedication to the arts did not go unnoticed; in 1984, he was honored with the title of Distinguished Artist, recognizing his significant impact on the cultural landscape of Vietnam.
