Jakub Gierszał, born on March 20, 1988, is a prominent Polish actor known for his compelling performances in film and television. He made his acting debut in 2009 with the role of Kazik in the acclaimed movie "All that I Love" (Polish: "Wszystko, co kocham"). Gierszał gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Dominik in the 2011 film "Suicide Room" (Polish: "Sala Samobójców"), where he depicted the struggles of a privileged high school student grappling with mental health challenges.
Hailing from Kraków, Gierszał comes from a family immersed in the arts; his father, Marek, is a theater director who has primarily worked in Germany. At just a few months old, the family relocated to Hamburg, where they lived for over a decade. Gierszał eventually moved back to Poland, settling in Toruń, where he pursued his passion for acting. He is an alumnus of the Kraków Academy of Dramatic Arts, where he honed his craft.
