Biography
Jonathan Daniel "Jon" Glaser, born on June 20, 1968, in Chicago, Illinois, is a prominent American actor, comedian, and television writer who has made significant strides in the entertainment industry from his base in New York City. He is widely recognized for his extensive contributions to Late Night with Conan O'Brien, where he served as a writer and sketch performer, earning five Emmy nominations for his work. Glaser is also known for creating and starring in the unique Adult Swim series Delocated, which aired its final episode on March 7, 2013, and follows a man in the witness protection program who stars in his own reality show.
Raised in Southfield, Michigan, Glaser attended the University of Michigan, where he honed his comedic skills in sketch troupes like Comedy Company and Just Kidding. His impressive film credits include appearances in Pootie Tang, School for Scoundrels, and Be Kind Rewind, along with guest roles on popular TV shows such as Curb Your Enthusiasm and Bob's Burgers. Notably, he portrayed Councilman Jeremy Jamm, a rival of Leslie Knope, in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation during its fifth and sixth seasons.
