Timothy Blake Nelson, born on May 11, 1964, is a multifaceted American actor and playwright renowned for his diverse roles in film and television. He gained widespread recognition for his memorable portrayal of Delmar O'Donnell in the Coen Brothers' film *O Brother, Where Art Thou?* (2000). His impressive filmography includes notable performances as Gideon in *Minority Report* (2002), Doctor Steve Pendanski in *Holes* (2003), and Samuel Sterns in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Nelson also starred as Richard Schell in Steven Spielberg's *Lincoln* (2012), the title character in *The Ballad of Buster Scruggs* (2018), and Henry McCarty in *Old Henry* (2021). His role as Wade Tillman, or Looking Glass, in HBO's *Watchmen* (2019) earned him a nomination for Best Supporting Actor in a Drama Series at the Critics' Choice Television Awards in 2020.
