Biography
Jane Colburn Levy (born December 29, 1989) is a talented American actress known for her diverse roles in both television and film. She began her acting journey at the prestigious Stella Adler Studio of Acting, making her on-screen debut as Mandy Milkovich in Showtime's acclaimed comedy-drama Shameless in 2011. After leaving the series after its first season, Levy took on the lead role in the ABC sitcom Suburgatory, which aired from 2011 to 2014.
Her film career took off with her collaboration with director Fede Álvarez, starring in the horror films Evil Dead (2013) and Don’t Breathe (2016), both of which garnered significant attention. Returning to television, Levy had prominent roles in the Hulu comedy-drama There’s… Johnny! (2017) and the horror fantasy series Castle Rock (2018), as well as leading the Netflix thriller miniseries What/If (2019).
From 2020 to 2021, she starred as the titular character in NBC's musical comedy-drama Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist, a performance that earned her a Golden Globe nomination for Best Actress in a Television Series Musical or Comedy. Jane Levy continues to captivate audiences with her dynamic performances across various genres.
