Biography

Nicole Lyn Oliver, born on February 22, 1970, in Ottawa, Ontario, is a talented Canadian actress and singer renowned for her voice work in animated series. She gained widespread recognition for her portrayals of Princess Celestia and Cheerilee in the beloved show *My Little Pony: Friendship Is Magic*, as well as her role as Zoe Trent in *Littlest Pet Shop*.

Nicole's academic background includes a Bachelor of Fine Arts from York University and a Master's degree in Communication from Royal Roads University. She has also honed her craft through training at the prestigious British American Drama Academy.

An active advocate for performers’ rights, Oliver is a dedicated member of the Union of BC Performers. She contributed her expertise to the executive board from 2002 to 2005 and has chaired various committees, playing a vital role in collective bargaining negotiations. Her commitment to the industry was recognized in 2017 when she received a nomination for the Best Voice Award from UBCP ACTRA.
