Hilary Ann Swank, born on July 30, 1974, is a celebrated American actress and film producer known for her compelling performances and versatility in a range of roles. Swank gained early recognition in 1992 with her part in the television series *Camp Wilder* and made her film debut in a minor role in *Buffy the Vampire Slayer* the same year. Her breakthrough came with the role of Julie Pierce in *The Next Karate Kid* (1994) and later as Carly Reynolds in the popular series *Beverly Hills, 90210* (1997–1998).
