Calvin Lockhart, originally named Bert Cooper, was a prominent Bahamian-American actor, born on October 18, 1934, and passing away on March 29, 2007. He gained fame for his performance as the formidable gangster "Biggie Smalls" in the 1975 film Let's Do It Again. It's important to note that he is not related to the late rapper Biggie Smalls, who adopted the name from Lockhart's character. Following a legal challenge, the rapper changed his stage name to Notorious B.I.G.
Lockhart's career spanned both theater and film, showcasing his versatility as an actor. Throughout his life, he was supported by his wife, Jennifer L. Miles, and is remembered by his sons, Leslie Cooper, who passed away in 2009, and Julien Lockhart Miles.
