Bo Hopkins, born on February 2, 1938, and passing on May 28, 2022, was a renowned American actor whose career spanned over four decades and encompassed more than 100 film and television roles. His notable film credits include iconic works such as The Wild Bunch (1969), The Bridge at Remagen (1969), The Getaway (1972), and American Graffiti (1973). He also appeared in The Man Who Loved Cat Dancing (1973), The Killer Elite (1975), and Midnight Express (1978), showcasing his versatility across various genres.

Hopkins gained significant attention in the early 1970s, starting with his role in White Lightning (1973). His performances in made-for-television films during the mid-1970s further solidified his reputation, with appearances in titles like Judgment: The Court Martial of Lieutenant William Calley (1975) and Dawn: Portrait of a Teenage Runaway (1976).

In 1978, after Gretchen Corbett departed from The Rockford Files, Hopkins stepped in as John Cooper, Rockford's attorney, appearing in three episodes. He also played Matthew Blaisdel in the first season of the prime-time soap opera Dynasty (1981).
