Praveen embarked on his journey as a comedian with the film *Kotha Bangaru Lokam*, sharing the screen with notable actors such as Varun Sandesh, Sweta Prasad, Prakash Raj, Jaya Sudha, and Brahmanandam. Directed by Srikanth Addala, the film garnered critical acclaim and secured two Nandi Awards.
