Thure Lindhardt
Biography
Thure Lindhardt is a prominent Danish actor who completed his training at the Odense Theater drama school in 1998. Originally hailing from Copenhagen, he spent his formative years in Roskilde. At just 12 years old, he made his acting debut in Bille August's film "Pelle the Conqueror." Lindhardt gained significant recognition in Denmark with his compelling performance as a boy with autism in "A Place Nearby," where he starred alongside the esteemed Ghita Nørby.
Since that pivotal moment, he has taken on a diverse range of roles in numerous films and television series. His filmography includes notable titles such as "Into the Wild," "Love in Thoughts," "Sugar Rush," "Princess," and the acclaimed "Flame & Citron," which explores the World War II resistance group known as Holger Danske and features actor Mads Mikkelsen.
In 2009, Lindhardt showcased his talent in a leading role as Lieutenant Chartrand, a young Swiss Guard, in the film "Angels & Demons," which was directed by Ron Howard. His career continues to flourish as he captivates audiences with his performances across various genres and mediums.
