Biography
Gregory Scott Cummins is a distinguished American character actor celebrated for his memorable performances in popular series such as *It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia* and *Bosch*. Hailing from Orinda, California, Cummins pursued his passion for acting early on, earning a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre Arts from the University of California, Berkeley, where he also excelled as a punter on a football scholarship. He later obtained a Master of Fine Arts in Acting from UCLA.
Cummins embarked on his television and film career in 1985, building an impressive portfolio that includes lead, supporting lead, and character roles across a plethora of feature films and television series. While he is often cast in villainous roles, his versatility has allowed him to shine in both comedic and dramatic parts.
In addition to his acting career, Cummins has a rich history in sports; he was a standout punter, leading the nation in multiple punting categories during his final seasons at the University of Hawaii before opting to pursue acting over a potential NFL career with the Green Bay Packers and later the San Diego Chargers, where he faced an injury that curtailed his football ambitions.
