Louie, a remarkable chimpanzee born on December 2, 1995, has made a significant mark in the world of film and entertainment. He gained widespread recognition for his role in the MVP film series, which includes "MVP: Most Valuable Primate" (2000), "MVP 2: Most Vertical Primate" (2001), and "MXP: Most Xtreme Primate" (2003), as well as the movie "Spymate" (2003). In these films, Louie captivated audiences with his dual portrayal of Jack and Jack's brother Louie, showcasing his charm and athleticism.
Louie's journey into the spotlight began with rigorous training from Greg and Carol Lille at Goin' Ape, where he honed skills in hockey, skateboarding, and snowboarding, making him a standout performer. Following the closure of Goin' Ape in 2010, Louie transitioned to The Maryland Zoo in Baltimore, where he continues to thrive.
In addition to his impressive film career, Louie's personal life flourished when he became a father in 2019, welcoming a daughter named Violet.
