Colin Cunningham, born on August 20, 1966, in Los Angeles, California, is a multifaceted American actor and director whose career took off in the 1990s. He is perhaps best known for his portrayal of Major Paul Davis in the iconic series Stargate SG-1, which garnered him a significant fanbase. His remarkable performance as John Pope in the sci-fi drama Falling Skies (2011–2015) further solidified his reputation in the industry. Cunningham also showcased his talent in roles such as Julian Slink in the darkly comedic Blood Drive (2017) and had a notable presence in the acclaimed series Preacher (2016–2019).
