Amanda Donohoe, born on June 29, 1962, is a distinguished English actress known for her compelling performances across film and television. She initially gained significant media attention at just 16 due to her high-profile relationship with pop star Adam Ant, during which she featured in his music videos for "Antmusic" (1980) and "Stand and Deliver" (1981).
Donohoe made her film debut in 1986 with *Foreign Body*, before co-starring alongside the legendary Oliver Reed in *Castaway* (1986). Her collaboration with renowned director Ken Russell followed, where she showcased her talent in *The Lair of the White Worm* (1988) and *The Rainbow* (1989).
