Biography
Darlanne Fluegel (November 25, 1953 - December 15, 2017) was a multifaceted American talent, known for her work as an actress, fashion model, film producer, and educator. Throughout her career, Fluegel made a notable impact on both television and film.
She gained recognition for her role as Eve in Sergio Leone's acclaimed 1984 film *Once Upon a Time in America*, where she starred alongside Robert De Niro. Her filmography also includes significant appearances in *Tough Guys* (1986), where she played the girlfriend of Kirk Douglas, and *To Live and Die in L.A.* (1985), in which she portrayed Ruth Lanier, a character entangled with Secret Service Agent Richard Chance, played by William Petersen. Additionally, Fluegel showcased her comedic talent in the buddy-cop action film *Running Scared* (1986), where she took on the role of Anna, Billy Crystal's ex-wife.
Beyond her film work, Fluegel was a familiar face on television, appearing in series like *Crime Story* and the final season of *Hunter*. She also made guest appearances on popular shows such as *The Tonight Show* and was featured in various national advertising campaigns and music videos, representing The Ford Agency in New York for 15 years.
