Biography
Bud Spencer, born Carlo Pedersoli on October 31, 1929, was an iconic Italian actor, filmmaker, and accomplished swimmer. He gained fame for his roles in action-comedy films, often sharing the screen with his lifelong friend and collaborator, Terence Hill. Spencer's early career was marked by his prowess in swimming, where he set several national records and represented Italy in the Olympics. After earning a law degree, he ventured into the film industry, where his unique blend of comedy and action resonated with audiences.
Throughout his prolific career, Spencer and Hill teamed up for over 20 films, producing and directing many of them, which solidified their status as a beloved duo in cinema. Some of their most notable works include "They Call Me Trinity" and "Trinity Is Still My Name," both of which became classics in the genre.
