In his later years, Curtis also made numerous appearances on television.

Initially, Curtis's early roles capitalized on his striking good looks, but as the 1950s progressed, he emerged as a significant screen presence. His transition into a respected dramatic actor was marked by his performance in "Houdini" (1953), where he starred alongside his then-wife, Janet Leigh.
