Orson Bean, originally named Dallas Frederick Burrows, was a prominent American actor, comedian, writer, and producer, born on July 22, 1928. His career spanned over several decades, during which he became a familiar face on both the big and small screens. Known for his quick wit and engaging personality, Bean was a popular figure on television game shows from the 1960s to the 1980s, most notably as a long-term panelist on the acclaimed show *To Tell the Truth*.
