Amy Rose Locane (born December 19, 1971) is an American former actress known for her breakout role in John Waters' 1990 musical comedy, *Cry-Baby*. With a promising career in the entertainment industry, Locane's life took a tragic turn due to a serious legal issue.

In June 2010, Locane was involved in a devastating drunk driving accident that resulted in the death of a 60-year-old woman. At the time of the crash, her blood-alcohol level was measured at three times the legal limit. While she was acquitted of manslaughter charges, she was convicted of vehicular homicide and assault by auto. Initially, she received a three-year prison sentence, serving two and a half years before being released.
