Biography

Kyla Alissa Pratt, born on September 16, 1986, is a talented American actress and singer, also known as Kyla A. Pratt.

She gained recognition as the voice of Penny Proud in Disney Channel's inaugural animated series, The Proud Family, and portrayed Breanna Latrice Barnes on UPN's One on One.

Pratt's career took off when she played the daughter of Eddie Murphy's character in the popular films Dr. Dolittle and Dr. Dolittle 2. She later took center stage in the franchise’s remakes, featuring in Dr. Dolittle 3, Dr. Dolittle: Tail to the Chief, and Dr. Dolittle: Million Dollar Mutts.

Her film credits include appearances in Fat Albert, Hotel for Dogs, and The Proud Family Movie. On television, she was part of the cast in the series Let’s Stay Together and reprised her role as Penny in the revival of The Proud Family, titled The Proud Family: Louder and Prouder, available on Disney+.

Additionally, Pratt is involved with VH1's Black Ink Crew: Compton and has co-starred alongside Mayim Bialik in the FOX sitcom Call Me Kat. With a diverse portfolio across various genres, Kyla Pratt continues to make her mark in the entertainment industry.
