Melissa George
Biography
Melissa Suzanne George, born on August 6, 1976, is an accomplished Australian actress recognized for her work across Australia, the UK, and the US. She gained significant fame for her portrayal of Angel Parrish on the popular Australian soap opera Home and Away. Following her success on the show, she appeared in other series like Roar and Thieves, and made notable contributions to acclaimed productions such as Alias and In Treatment.
George made her film debut in the 1998 neo-noir sci-fi film Dark City, and went on to take on supporting roles in The Limey (1999) and David Lynch’s Mulholland Dr. (2001). Her cinematic repertoire includes the 2005 remake of The Amityville Horror, the thriller Turistas (2006), and the vampire horror film 30 Days of Night (2007). More recently, she received critical acclaim for her leading role in the psychological horror film Triangle (2009).
