Rif Hutton, born on November 28, 1962, is a talented American actor known for his versatile performances across various television shows and films. His career took off with roles in several soap operas and guest appearances on popular TV series. He gained significant recognition for his recurring roles as Dr. Ron Welch in the beloved comedy-drama Doogie Howser, M.D. from 1990 to 1993, and as Lt. Cmdr. Alan Mattoni on the military legal drama JAG from 1997 to 2001.
Beyond television, Hutton has lent his voice to a variety of animated films, showcasing his range as a performer. He is also remembered for his portrayal of Russ Beeler, the fictional proprietor of a KFC franchise, in a series of memorable commercials during the early to mid-1990s, which further solidified his presence in pop culture.
