Biography
Elizabeth Stamatina "Tina" Fey, born on May 18, 1970, is a prominent American actress, comedian, writer, and producer celebrated for her influential contributions to television and film. Fey rose to fame through her work on the iconic NBC sketch comedy series Saturday Night Live (SNL), where she was a key player from 1997 to 2006. Her success continued with the NBC sitcom 30 Rock, which aired from 2006 to 2013 and was inspired by her experiences at SNL. Fey's writing and acting prowess led her to create memorable films, including Mean Girls (2004), Baby Mama (2008), Date Night (2010), and Admission (2013).
Fey's accolades are impressive, including eight Emmy Awards, two Golden Globe Awards, five Screen Actors Guild Awards, and four Writers Guild of America Awards. Her autobiographical work, Bossypants, earned a Grammy nomination and topped The New York Times Best Seller list for five weeks.
