David Sterne, born in 1946, is a distinguished English actor whose extensive career has spanned over four decades and includes appearances in more than 90 films since his debut in 1973.
Following his service in the British Army, Sterne honed his craft at the prestigious Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art. He is a former member of the Royal Shakespeare Company, where he developed his skills in classical theatre. He is best known for his role as Larry Bishop in the acclaimed BBC series 'Detectorists,' a performance that garnered him widespread recognition.
