Yuen Biao (Chinese: 元彪), born on July 26, 1957, is a distinguished actor and martial artist hailing from Hong Kong. Renowned for his expertise in acrobatics and traditional Chinese martial arts, Yuen has made a significant impact in the film industry, appearing in over 80 films as an actor, stunt performer, and action choreographer.
He began his artistic journey at the China Drama Academy, where he was trained in Peking Opera alongside fellow martial arts icons Sammo Hung and Jackie Chan. Together, they formed the "Seven Little Fortunes," a celebrated performance troupe that showcased their talents and laid the foundation for their future careers in film. Yuen's collaborations with Hung, particularly through the Sammo Hung Stuntmen's Association, further solidified his reputation in the action genre.
