Biography
Ellen DeGeneres is a renowned American comedian, television personality, and actress. She is best known for hosting the popular daytime talk show, The Ellen DeGeneres Show, and served as a judge on the ninth season of American Idol.
DeGeneres has made her mark on prestigious award shows, having hosted both the Academy Awards and the Primetime Emmys. Her film credits include roles in Mr. Wrong, EDtv, and The Love Letter, but she is perhaps most celebrated for voicing Dory in Disney-Pixar's Finding Nemo, a performance that earned her a Saturn Award for Best Supporting Actress, marking a historic first for voice acting.
She starred in the sitcom Ellen from 1994 to 1998 and The Ellen Show from 2001 to 2002.
