Biography
Christopher Charles Collins, originally known as Christopher Lawrence Latta, was a prominent American actor and stand-up comedian whose work left a lasting impact on the entertainment industry. Born on September 22, 1952, he gained widespread recognition for his distinctive voice roles, most notably as Cobra Commander in the beloved animated series G.I. Joe and as Starscream in the inaugural Transformers animated series.
Collins showcased his versatility through various guest appearances on iconic television shows, including Star Trek: The Next Generation and Star Trek: Deep Space Nine. His voice acting talents were also featured in The Simpsons, where he lent his voice to characters like Moe Szyslak and Mr. Burns during the show’s first season (1989–1990).
