Andy Milder

Biography

Andy Milder, born on August 16, 1969, in Omaha, Nebraska, is a notable American actor. He relocated to Santa Monica, California, during his childhood and later pursued a degree in Economics at the University of California, Berkeley. Following his undergraduate education, Milder honed his craft at the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco.

Milder's filmography includes significant roles in major films such as Apollo 13, Armageddon, Rumor Has It…, Frost/Nixon, Transformers, and Domino. He gained prominence on television as a series regular in Fame L.A. and Weeds, and has made guest appearances in numerous acclaimed shows, including Star Trek: Voyager, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine, The West Wing, Six Feet Under, Ugly Betty, Boston Legal, Parks and Recreation, Married... with Children, The Wonder Years, Private Practice, and Criminal Minds.

In addition to his on-screen work, Milder has lent his voice to various projects, such as narrating Ballroom Bootcamp, 101 Most Starlicious Make-Overs, Wrecks to Riches, and Lost Gold of World War II. He voiced Lightning Lad in the 2006 animated series Legion of Super Heroes and in the film Lego DC Comics Super Heroes: Justice League: Cosmic Clash. From 2005 to 2009, he played Dean Hodes in Weeds and has been a recurring character, Lester Dawson, on the Disney Channel sitcom Austin & Ally since 2011. Milder also appeared in Royal Pains and Rizzoli & Isles. He resides in Manhattan Beach, California, with his wife, Dr. Betty Lee.
