James N. Harrell
Biography
James Nelson Harrell was a prominent American actor whose career extended over many years. He completed his undergraduate studies at Baylor University and earned a Master’s Degree in Drama from Trinity University. In the 1930s, he honed his acting skills at the original Baylor Theater under the guidance of Paul Baker. In 1940, Harrell received an invitation to join Michael Chekhov's Acting Studio located in Ridgefield, Connecticut, further enhancing his artistic development.
Throughout his career, Harrell made significant contributions to both theater and film, featuring in notable movies such as Michael (1996) and The Green Mile (1999).
