Colin James Farrell, born on May 31, 1976, is a prominent Irish actor who has made a significant mark in both blockbuster and independent cinema since the early 2000s. Over his dynamic career, he has garnered numerous awards, including three Golden Globe Awards and an Academy Award nomination. In 2020, The Irish Times recognized him as the fifth-greatest film actor from Ireland, and Time magazine included him in its list of the 100 most influential people in the world in 2023.

Farrell's acting journey began with the BBC drama series Ballykissangel in 1998, followed by his film debut in The War Zone (1999).
