Biography

Pinto Colvig is perhaps most renowned for his iconic voice work as Disney's Goofy and for being the original Bozo the Clown, a role he held for an impressive ten years starting in 1946. His vocal talents extended beyond these famous characters; he also lent his voice to Practical Pig, the industrious pig who constructed the "house of bricks" in the classic Disney short Three Little Pigs. Additionally, Colvig portrayed both Sleepy and Grumpy in the beloved animated feature Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, and he provided the characteristic barks for Pluto, Mickey Mouse's loyal canine companion.
