Karen Jane Allen, born on October 5, 1951, is an accomplished American actress celebrated for her memorable portrayal of Marion Ravenwood in the iconic films Raiders of the Lost Ark (1981) and Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull (2008). Her career began to flourish in the late 1970s with a notable appearance in National Lampoon's Animal House (1978), a film that became a defining comedy of its era.
Throughout the 1980s and 1990s, Allen showcased her versatility in a variety of genres. She starred in The Wanderers (1979), and took on a more intense role in Cruising (1980).
