Britt Christina Marinette Lindberg, born on December 6, 1950, in Gothenburg, Sweden, is a notable Swedish journalist, actress, and glamour model whose fame surged during the late 1960s and early 1970s.
Christina's career took off when she was just 18, initially posing in swimwear for local newspapers before transitioning to nude modeling for men's publications such as FIB aktuellt and Lektyr. Her striking presence soon led her to be featured in prominent magazines like Penthouse, Playboy, and Lui, eventually earning the title of Penthouse Pet in June 1970.
Lindberg's film career spans 23 feature films, primarily within the genres of erotica and exploitation. Her debut was in the American film Maid in Sweden, followed by a breakout role in the Swedish comedy Rötmånad, which garnered over 250,000 viewers. Her third film, Exponerad, premiered at the Cannes Film Festival in 1971, propelling her to international stardom.
She continued to star in a series of exploitation films, including a significant role in the Japanese classic Sex & Fury. Her performance in the controversial Thriller – en grym film (1972) caught the attention of filmmaker Quentin Tarantino, who later acknowledged her influence on Uma Thurman's character in Kill Bill. Despite her success, Lindberg grew uneasy with the increasing explicitness of adult films, leading her to leave the set of Gerard Damiano’s Flossie before its completion.
