John Novak
Biography
John Novak, born on September 9, 1955, in Caracas, Venezuela, is a versatile actor and anime voice actor renowned for his contributions to the entertainment industry. He is particularly recognized for his extensive voice work with the Ocean Group, a prominent studio located in Vancouver, Canada. Among his notable film roles, Novak portrayed The Djinn in the sequels to the horror film Wishmaster, specifically in Wishmaster 3: Beyond The Gates Of Hell and Wishmaster: The Prophecy Fulfilled, stepping in for Andrew Divoff.
His television appearances include a memorable role as Ross J. Kelly, a scheming lawyer, in the sci-fi series Sliders, where he made two guest appearances. More recently, he took on the role of the Sheriff in Bloodrayne 2: Deliverance, showcasing his range in both film and television.
In Canada, Novak is perhaps most recognizable from his work in Kokanee beer commercials, where he plays a dedicated Park Ranger determined to thwart the antics of the Kokanee Sasquatch as it attempts to swipe the beer.
