Etsuko Shihomi, often referred to as Sue Shihomi, is a retired Japanese actress and martial artist celebrated for her contributions to action cinema in the 1970s. Born in 1955, she became a prominent figure in the film industry under the mentorship of the renowned Sonny Chiba, and played a significant role in the Japan Action Club. Shihomi rose to prominence as the star of the "Sister Street Fighter" film series, where she displayed remarkable martial arts prowess. Her filmography also includes significant titles such as "The Street Fighter" (1974) and "The Executioner" (1974), both of which helped solidify her status as an action star. In the 1980s, Shihomi made the decision to retire from acting, leaving a lasting impact as one of Japan's trailblazing female action icons.
