Mika Juliette Boorem, born on August 18, 1987, in Tucson, Arizona, is an accomplished American actress recognized for her engaging performances in both film and television. The daughter of Benjamin and Holly Boorem, she grew up alongside her older brother, Benjamin. Mika's passion for acting emerged early, as she began her career in local theater before relocating to Los Angeles with her family. There, she attended Lycée Français de Los Angeles, further honing her craft.

Boorem gained prominence through her roles in several notable films, including the popular surf drama *Blue Crush* (2002), the romantic comedy *Carolina* (2003), and the teen flick *Sleepover* (2004).
