Biography
Peter Bartlett is a versatile actor known for his engaging performances across television, film, and theater. He gained significant recognition for his portrayal of Nigel Bartholomew-Smythe on the ABC soap opera *One Life to Live*, a role he embraced from 1991 until the show's finale in 2012. In 2009, he expanded his character repertoire by taking on the role of Neville, Nigel's English cousin.
Bartlett's theatrical prowess shone brightly on Broadway, particularly when he played Pluto in the 2004 production of *The Frogs*, an adaptation by Stephen Sondheim, Burt Shevelove, and Nathan Lane at Lincoln Center's Vivian Beaumont Theater. His rendition of the line “Get out of town!” was notably praised by Sondheim himself and remains a highlight on the original cast recording by PS Classics.
In film, he appeared as Lawrence, the valet, in Disney’s animated feature *The Princess and the Frog* (2009).
